World various countries’80 jewelry companies participate in Yerevan Show 2015

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Armenian and foreign jewelers of World various countries will represent their works in Armenia during the next two days. Opening of Yerevan show 2015 jewelry exhibition took place in Yerevans MERIDIAN EXPO CENTER on October 24, which will be continued till October 26. Around 80 companies from Armenia and abroad participate in the exhibition. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and the First Lady Rita Sargsyan and Armenian Ministerof Economy Karen Chshmaritian also participated in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Gagik Gevorkian, President of theArmenian Jewelers Association, mentioned in the meeting with journalists that this is the 5th exhibition in a row. Despite the fact that the world economy is in bad condition, Armenian jewelers find time to come to their motherland to show their unity. Unfortunately, fewer companies are taking part in the exhibition in this time, as there were some difficulties, Gevorkian emphasized, as Armenpress informed.
He informed at the same time that World jewelry congress meeting will take place in Armenia in the next year which is worlds biggest congress consisting of 40 associations.
After the opening ceremony Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan and the First Lady Rita Sargsyan made a tour around the area and got acquainted with the represented works.
